ALGIERS, November 6, 2025 – The Algerian Minister of Foreign Trade and Exports Promotion, Kamel Rezig, met on Thursday with the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Tran Quoc Khanh, to discuss ways to strengthen trade cooperation between the two countries, according to a statement from the ministry.
During the meeting, both sides agreed on the need to establish an Algerian-Vietnamese business council, which would serve as a practical framework for strengthening ties between economic operators from both countries, as well as the organization of exhibitions of their respective products in each country in order to boost commercial exchanges and expand areas of bilateral partnership, the statement said.
On this occasion, the two parties reaffirmed their desire to raise economic relations to the level of the privileged political relations between the two countries, reflecting the strength of ties between Algeria and Vietnam, the statement concluded.
