Algeria Venture Leads Algerian Participation at ‘LEAP Tech Conference 2025’ in Riyadh

Algeria is making its presence felt at the “LEAP 2025 Tech Conference” in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, through the public startup accelerator Algeria Venture (AV). This event showcases a range of Algerian startups across various sectors, including human resources, energy, e-commerce, and artificial intelligence, as highlighted in a recent press release by Algeria Venture.

Running from February 9 to 12, Algeria’s participation is supported by a dedicated program developed by Algeria Venture. This initiative has prepared several Algerian startups by creating networking opportunities that connect them with international investors and strategic partners, while also increasing their visibility to present innovative solutions crafted in Algeria on a global platform.

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-Enterprises, this participation underscores “the strong commitment of Algerian authorities to support and promote innovation and entrepreneurship,” according to Algeria Venture. The organization noted that the participating startups have “impressed with their creativity and potential to address current technological and economic challenges.”

The LEAP Tech Conference also provided an opportunity for Algeria Venture to showcase the rapidly growing national entrepreneurial ecosystem, particularly in fields such as smart cities, human resources, oil and gas, e-commerce, and artificial intelligence (AI).

Through this engagement, Algeria Venture emphasizes that it represents a “significant milestone in the strategy for developing the national entrepreneurial ecosystem.” It demonstrates the ability of Algerian startups to compete internationally and contribute to the diversification of the national economy.

Furthermore, it illustrates “the dynamism of our startup ecosystem and the significance of the strategic support offered by Algeria Venture,” which reaffirms its commitment to “continue efforts to position Algeria as an innovation hub in Africa and globally,” the statement concludes.
