ALGIERS, Oct 2, 2025 –President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Thursday urged Algerian businesses, public and private, to respect their commitments domestically and with foreign partners, stressing that “the credibility of the state is above all else.”
Speaking at a meeting with economic operators in Algiers following last month’s intra-African trade fair, Tebboune called for boosting production capacity and competitiveness, including through round-the-clock operations in high-demand sectors.
He pledged continued state support to firms seeking to expand industrial and productive activities, citing access to credit and other facilitation measures.
