ALGIERS – The Algerian Minister of Transport, Saïd Sayoud, chaired Wednesday at the ministry’s headquarters, a coordination meeting devoted to monitoring ongoing preparations in the sector to contribute to the success of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025), scheduled from September 4 to 10 in Algiers, the ministry said in a press release.
The meeting, attended by sector enterprise CEOs and senior ministry officials, featured a detailed technical briefing on the state of the park dedicated to welcoming delegations and exhibitors, the number of buses mobilized, the reception capacity of parking areas and the transport and circulation plan.
The briefing also focused on the progress the electronic application project dedicated to transport, whose launch is planned soon, in order to facilitate the movements of exhibitors and participants.
The meeting also enabled to review the organizational measures put in place at the level of Algiers International Airport to facilitate the reception and entry formalities of guests coming from Africa and elsewhere.
