Algeria-Spain: Interior Ministers Hold Bilateral Meeting

The bilateral meeting between the Algerian Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, Said Sayoud, and his Spanish counterpart, Fernando Grande Marlaska, started on Monday in Algiers. This meeting will focus several issues of common interest, including security and civil protection, road safety, disaster management, and others.

The Spanish Minister of Interior began a working visit to Algeria on Sunday evening.

He was welcomed upon his arrival at Algiers Houari Boumediene International Airport by the Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, Said Sayoud, who was accompanied by the Minister, Wali (Governor) of Algiers, Mohamed Abdenour Rabehi, the Director General of National Police (DGSN), Ali Badaoui, and the Director General of Civil Protection (DGPC), Colonel Boualem Bourelaf, as well as Spain’s Ambassador to Algeria, Fernando Moran.
