Algeria Re-elected as Member of Executive Council of ICPO

On Wednesday, Algeria was unanimously re-elected as a member of the Executive Council of the International Civil Protection Organization (ICPO) for the term 2024 to 2028, according to a statement from the General Directorate of Civil Protection.

“During the 26th ordinary session of the General Assembly of the International Civil Protection Organization and the 57th session of its Executive Council, held on October 28, 29, and 30 in Egypt, Algeria received unanimous support from the members of the General Assembly for its re-election to the ICPO Executive Council for the upcoming term,” the statement said.

Furthermore, during this meeting, based on a proposal from Algeria that garnered consensus, the membership of Palestine was also unanimously approved for the ICPO Executive Council, the statement added.

Algeria’s delegation at this session included the Director General of Civil Protection, Colonel Boualem Bourelaf, along with the Director of Studies, Colonel Guerrache Doudah.
