
ALGIERS – The President of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has appointed the new members of the Government by decree, according to a statement issued by the Presidency on Monday.
“By virtue of a presidential decree, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has appointed the following members to the Government,”
– Nadir Larbaoui, Prime Minister.
– Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army.
– Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs.
– Mohamed Arkab, Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Mines, and Renewable Energy.
– Brahim Merad, Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities, and National Planning.
– Lotfi Boudjemaa, Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, replacing Abderrachid Tabi, who was appointed to other duties.
– Laaziz Faid, Minister of Finance.
– Laïd Rebiga, Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders.
– Youcef Belmehdi, Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments.
– Kamel Baddari, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
