Algeria : Parliamentary Delegation to Attend APNODE Annual General Assembly in Benin

ALGIERS – An Algerian parliamentary delegation will attend the 9th Annual General Assembly of the African Parliamentarians’ Network on Development Evaluation (APNODE) from August 28 to 30 in Cotonou, Benin, according to a statement from the Council of the Nation (Parliament’s upper house).

The assembly, themed “A Decade of Strengthening African Parliamentarians’ Capacities for Better Legislation, Quality Control, and Public Policy Evaluation : Reflection, Cooperation, and Perspectives,” will include Vice-President of the Commission of Economic and Financial Affairs Samir Zoubiri and upper house member Youcef Laarab as part of the delegation.

APNODE aims to assist African parliamentarians in evaluating and monitoring legislation and policy implementation, enhancing their legislative and representative roles for the benefit of African citizens.
