Algeria, Ivory Coast Strengthen Cooperation in Health and Pharmaceutical Industry

ALGIERS- Algerian Minister of Communication, Abdelhak Saihi, received Ambassador the Republic of Ivory Coast to Algeria, Voho Sahi Alponse, with whom he discussed ways aimed at strengthening relations of cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the fields of health, pharmaceutical industry, said the ministry in a Communiqué.
This meeting provided an opportunity to “discuss the privileged relations between the two countries and the strong willingness to strengthen bilateral cooperation and the comprehensive strategic partnership,” said the source.
On this occasion, the Minister of Health expressed his satisfaction with the level of “fruitful and privileged bilateral cooperation, as well as the deep relations between Algeria and Ivory Coast,” emphasizing the need to “reactivate the Joint High Commission between the two countries.”
For his part, the Ivorian ambassador praised “the visit made by Saihi to the Republic of Ivory Coast in his capacity as Special Envoy of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
Meanwile, the ambassador reiterated “his country’s willingness to further strengthen cooperative relations with Algeria and elevate them to higher levels.”
This meeting was an opportunity to “assess cooperation between the two countries in various fields and to discuss ways to enhance the bilateral partnership in the pharmaceutical industry, in the best interests of both countries and the African continent.”
