Algeria, Italy Leaders Co-Chair 5th High-Level Intergovernmental Summit in Rome

On Wednesday, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune co-chaired the 5th session of the high-level Algerian-Italian intergovernmental summit in Rome alongside Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni as part of his official visit to this friendly nation.

Before the proceedings began, President Tebboune received an official welcome from his Italian counterpart, President Sergio Mattarella.

The two presidents engaged in bilateral discussions, which were later broadened to include members of their respective delegations.

Furthermore, President Tebboune was also received by Prime Minister Meloni.

Tebboune arrived in Rome on Tuesday evening, leading a substantial ministerial delegation for an official visit to the Republic of Italy. This visit is particularly significant for reinforcing the historical bonds of friendship and enhancing bilateral relations between the two allied countries across various sectors.
