ALGIERS, Oct 1, 2025 – The Secretary General of Algeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Lounès Magramane, held talks Wednesday in Algiers with Indonesia’s Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Anis Matta, who is on a working visit to Algeria from September 30 to October 3, the ministry said in a statement.
The meeting was an opportunity to review bilateral relations and explore ways to promote them, building on the historic ties between the two countries, the statement said.
Both sides discussed steps to strengthen cooperation, notably through the drafting of a roadmap and the activation of mechanisms such as the joint commission on bilateral cooperation.
