Algeria, Finland Review Economic Cooperation and Investment Prospects in Helsinki Talks

ALGIERS — The Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held talks on Thursday in Helsinki with the Finnish Minister of Foreign Trade and Development, Ville Tavio, as part of his official visit to the Republic of Finland, according to a ministry statement.
The meeting allowed to “conduct a comprehensive review of the various aspects of economic cooperation between the two countries, particularly welcoming the encouraging results of joint industrial investment projects, characterized by technology sharing and an increase in the integration rate,” the statement said.
The two ministers also examined “the prospects for strengthening bilateral trade and boosting investment partnerships between the two countries, in line with their complementary economic potentials, particularly in priority areas for both parties, such as agricultural equipment, construction materials, mining, information and communication technologies (ICT), artificial intelligence (AI) and digitization,” the same source said.
