ALGIERS – Amar Ouchelli, the Deputy Director of Large-Scale Fishing and Specialized Fishing at Algeria’s Ministry of Fishing and Fishery Production, chaired the 24th extraordinary session of the fourth subcommittee of the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT) in Cypriot. The session, held recently, focused on key issues related to the conservation and management of tuna stocks in the Atlantic. The meeting reflects Algeria’s continued commitment to international efforts in sustainable fisheries management.
