Algeria Calls for Support of Palestine’s Draft Resolution at UN

Algeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Amar Bendjama, called on member states to support a “historic” draft resolution presented by the State of Palestine. Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Tuesday, Bendjama emphasized the importance of the resolution, which seeks to end the occupation of Palestinian territories and ensure that the Palestinian people can fully enjoy their rights.
Bendjama’s appeal highlights Algeria’s long-standing commitment to the Palestinian cause. He urged the international community to stand in solidarity with Palestine in its efforts to achieve justice, sovereignty, and peace, reinforcing that the resolution is a crucial step toward addressing the ongoing conflict and fulfilling Palestinian aspirations for statehood.
