Algeria: Aoun Discusses Strengthening Cooperation with Indian Ambassador

On Tuesday in Algiers, the Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Ali Aoun, met with Swati Vijay Kulkarni, the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Algeria. Their discussion focused on exploring opportunities to enhance cooperation between the two countries, as outlined in a communiqué from the ministry.

The meeting served as a platform to assess the current state of industrial relations and identify strategies for promoting collaboration through the transfer and exchange of expertise in the pharmaceutical and mechanical sectors, where “the Republic of India is recognized as one of the leading nations,” the statement noted.

Both parties also deliberated on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the industrial arena by facilitating expert visits to stimulate investment dynamics between the two nations, according to the ministry.

They expressed “satisfaction with the quality of relations between the two countries, which are founded on mutual interests,” while highlighting “the necessity to further develop and expand these ties.”
