Algeria and Croatia Explore Ways to Deepen Cooperation

Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, was received on Monday by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, where they discussed the various areas of cooperation between the two countries.
“During the meeting, the Croatian Prime Minister conveyed to the Algerian Minister of State his sincerest condolences to the President of the Republic and to the Algerian people on the passing of former President Liamine Zéroual. In turn, Minister Ahmed Attaf expressed his heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the Croatian Prime Minister for the solidarity shown toward Algeria, while conveying the greetings of the President of the Republic and his commitment to work jointly to inject new momentum into bilateral relations and strengthen them in ways that serve the interests of both countries,” the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the various areas of cooperation between Algeria and Croatia and to explore ways to elevate them to the highest possible levels, particularly in light of ongoing preparations for upcoming high-level bilateral events between the two countries’ leaderships, the statement said.
