
ALGIERS – Algerian Prime Minister, Nadir Larbaoui, chaired on Wednesday a Government meeting devoted to examining communications and bills on digitization, justice and mining, as well as the Hajj and preparations for welcoming members of the national community abroad, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a press release.
Prime Minister, Nadir Larbaoui, chaired on wednesday, a Government meeting dedicated to examining ways to strengthen measures taken regarding the modernization of public administration and the simplification and improvement of administrative procedures through the digitization process, in execution of the directives given by the President of the Republic to this effect.
The progress made in simplifying administrative procedures and the various measures proposed to improve the related legal framework were examined, in order to ensure the consolidation of achievements and guarantee the improvement of the quality of services provided to citizens.
As part of completing the national legal and institutional framework on the prevention and fight against human trafficking, and in order to ensure its coherence with our country’s international commitments in this matter, the Government examined a draft executive decree establishing the national mechanism for dealing with victims of human trafficking, taken in application of Law No. 23-04 of 7 May 2023, relating to the prevention and fight against human trafficking, through a set of measures and procedures aimed at assisting, protecting, caring for and supporting victims in their social reintegration.
A s part of monitoring the implementation of the Gara Djebilet mining project, decided by the President of the Republic, particularly in its aspect related to transportation infrastructure for mining products, the Government examined a draft executive decree declaring public utility the operation relating to the construction of the Hassi Mefsoukh-Mostaganem railway connection, in order to reduce pressure on port infrastructure in the western part of the country and to strengthen transport services by connecting the cities crossed by this railway line.
The Government heard a communication on the conditions for launching the first flights for hajjis to the Holy Places, as well as the preparations for their reception and accompaniment during the performance of their rituals.
An examination was also made of the various measures and procedures implemented to ensure optimal reception of members of the national community living abroad during the 2025 summer season.
