Al-Sissi Says Egypt ‘Will Never Participate’ in Forced Displacement of Gazans

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sissi declared on Wednesday that any forced displacement of Gazans would represent an “injustice that we cannot take part in”.

“There can never be a compromise on the fundamental principles of Egypt’s historic position regarding the Palestinian cause,” al-Sissi asserted during a joint press conference in Cairo with Kenyan President William Ruto.

Additionally, the Egyptian president underscored that his country’s “inalienable principles” encompass the establishment of a Palestinian state and the safeguarding of its essential components, particularly its people and territory.
