Air travel: Increasing number of flights to Canada
from 3 to 5 flights per week, starting from February 28

The Algerian ministry of Transport said Wednesday, in a statement, that the number of flights to Canada will rise from three to five weekly flights from February 28.
“Pursuant to President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s decision and as part of the government’s efforts to consolidate national airline Air Algerie’s current flight schedule to various international destinations, the ministry of Transport said the number of regular commercial flights to Canada (Montreal) will increase from three to five weekly flights, from Monday 28 February 2022,” the statement said.
On the basis of reciprocity, Canadian airlines will be allowed to carry out the same number of flights, the ministry said.
Scheduling flights to other international destinations is to be under consideration by the relevant high authorities, in accordance with the development of the country’s health situation, the statement concluded.
