Algerian airline Air Algerie on Wednesday announced the opening of a new Algiers-N’Djamena (Chad) route, with a stopover in Douala (Cameroon) from 21 October 2025, under its winter schedule.
The new route “is in line with the instructions of President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune to enhance air links between Algeria and other African countries, and to intensify economic, commercial and cultural cooperation and exchanges with the Republic of Chad, a sister country,” the national airline said in a press release.
Air Algerie, granted fifth freedom rights, is allowed to operate scheduled flights between Algiers and N’Djamena with a stopover in Douala, Cameroon, according to the statement.
The company specifies that customers will also be able to purchase return tickets between Douala and N’Djamena.
