AC Milan Signs Midfielder Samuele Ricci from Torino

AC Milan has strengthened its squad by signing Italian international midfielder Samuele Ricci from Torino, the club announced Thursday.

In an official statement, the Serie A club said Ricci signed a contract until June 30, 2029, with an option for a one-year extension until June 2030.

While Milan did not disclose the transfer fee, Italian media reported that the club paid €23 million, with the amount potentially rising to €24.5 million including performance-related bonuses. Torino will also receive 10% of any future transfer fee if Ricci is sold.

Ricci, 23, graduated from Empoli’s youth academy and joined Torino in 2022. Since January 2022, he has made 113 appearances for Torino in all competitions, scoring four goals.

At the international level, Ricci has earned 10 caps with the Italian national team, including recent appearances in the World Cup qualifiers — a 3-0 loss to Norway that led to coach Luciano Spalletti’s dismissal, followed by a 2-0 win over Moldova.
