About 90% of Gaza Population Displaced Since October (UN)

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights announced on Thursday that nearly 90% of the residents of the Gaza Strip have been displaced since last October.

According to the commission, as reported by the Palestinian news agency “WAFA,” there is currently no safe place remaining in the territory. This indicates that the people of Gaza have been forced into a confined area that constitutes only one-tenth of the total land of the strip.

Since October 7, the Zionist government has conducted an extensive military campaign against Gaza, resulting in over 133,000 casualties, the majority of whom are women and children. Additionally, more than 10,000 individuals have been reported missing amid widespread destruction and a devastating famine.

In blatant disregard for the international community, the occupying entity continues its assault, ignoring calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and the International Court of Justice’s orders aimed at preventing acts of genocide and improving the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
