5th Session of Algerian-Belgian Political Consultations Held in Algiers

ALGIERS- Secretary General of the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Lounès Magramane, co-chaired on Tuesday, in Algiers, with his Belgian counterpart, Theodora Gentzis, the 5th session of Algerian-Belgian political consultations, said the ministry in a Communiqué.
This session was “an opportunity to discuss the state of Algerian-Belgian relations on various levels, notably political and economic, as well as to examin ways aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in diverse fields such as health, social security, digitization, entrepreneurship, renewable energies, the pharmaceutical industry, higher education, and vocational training,” according to the same source.
The consultations also addressed regional and international issues of common interest, notably developments in the situation in Palestine, Western Sahara, and the Sahel-Saharan region, the source concluded.
