450,000 Rally in Istanbul to Condemn Gaza Genocide and Show Solidarity with Palestine

Around 450,000 people, including politicians and activists, gathered in Istanbul on Wednesday to participate in a massive pro-Palestinian rally. The event aimed to condemn Zionist genocide and show support for the Palestinian people.
Organized by the non-governmental organization TUGVA, the rally was marked by speeches from prominent figures, including TUGVA’s chair, Beytullah Cicen, who highlighted the overwhelming support from Turkish citizens: “There are 450,000 citizens here today, adults and children, who stand with humanity and the Palestinian people,” he told Haberturk.
During the rally, Bilal Erdogan, son of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, also addressed the crowd, emphasizing the significance of the protest. “We have come here today to condemn genocide in Gaza and to express our solidarity with Palestine. We are here today in support of the Al-Aqsa Mosque,” he said.
