180 Journalists Killed Since 7 October 2023 in Gaza

GAZA (Occupied Palestine) – The Gaza Media Office has reported that the death toll of Palestinian journalists killed by Zionist forces has reached 180 since the beginning of the latest aggression on the Gaza Strip. Among the most recent casualties were journalists Saed Radwan, Hamza Abu Salmiya, and Hanin Baroud, whose deaths underscore the targeting of media professionals amid the ongoing conflict. The Gaza Government Media Office has condemned these acts as calculated and deliberate, holding the Zionist forces fully responsible for the lives lost in what it calls an attack on free press and truth-telling.

The office further called on the international community and human rights organizations to intervene, urging them to take legal action against the Zionist forces in international courts. Highlighting what it describes as war crimes and systematic genocide, the Gaza Media Office appealed for accountability to protect Palestinian journalists and civilians. The statement underscores the risks journalists face in Gaza, where they continue to document the genocide, despite the life-threatening conditions.
