16 Days of Zionist Occupation Assault on Tulkarm

For the 16th consecutive day, Zionist occupation forces continue their military assault on the city of Tulkarm and its refugee camps, Tulkarm and Nour Shams. The offensive has resulted in widespread destruction of infrastructure, mass arrests, and the forced displacement of thousands of residents.
Occupation forces have imposed a tight siege on both camps, deploying armored vehicles and foot patrols while conducting house raids. Many homes now stand empty as families flee under duress. Residents report intense gunfire, particularly at night, creating an atmosphere of terror.
Eyewitnesses from Tulkarm camp describe the situation as “war-like,” with heavy explosions and occupation forces storming homes, firing live ammunition, and detonating grenades inside. Military snipers have occupied high-rise buildings and strategic locations such as Nablus Street and the Al-Muqata’a area, turning them into fortified military positions.
On Monday night, the occupation reinforced its presence in Nour Shams, deploying additional troops to Jabal Al-Salihin and Jabal Al-Nasr neighborhoods. Soldiers broke into homes after blowing up their doors, ransacking properties, and arresting several young men.
The occupation’s incursion into Nour Shams began last Sunday with the use of heavy military vehicles and bulldozers, causing extensive damage to essential infrastructure, including electricity, water, and communication networks. During the attack, three Palestinians were killed, and a complete lockdown was imposed on the camp.
The humanitarian crisis in Nour Shams is worsening, as hundreds of families—women, children, the elderly, and the sick—have been forcibly displaced. Residents were seen fleeing their homes under gunfire, with explosions echoing throughout the camp.
The ongoing assault on Tulkarm reflects an escalating pattern of military aggression, leaving thousands of Palestinians in fear, displaced, and struggling for survival.
