10,000 Palestinians Arrested from West Bank Since October 7

Ministry of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Club reported today, Wednesday, that Zionist occupation forces have arrested 10,000 citizens in the West Bank since the onset of the Zionist aggression on Gaza on October 7.
The Ministry and the Prisoners Club stated in a release that this figure includes individuals “arrested from their homes, at military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender under pressure, and those taken as hostages.” They also noted that during these arrest campaigns, Zionist occupation forces have conducted extensive raids, accompanied by beatings, threats against detainees and their families, as well as widespread vandalism and destruction of citizens’ homes.
The statement confirmed that Zionist occupation forces carried out a wide-ranging arrest campaign from Tuesday evening until Wednesday, detaining at least 26 citizens from the West Bank, including siblings and former detainees.
It is worth noting that this ongoing and unprecedented surge in arrests is part of a comprehensive assault on the Palestinian people and the ongoing genecide in Gaza since October 7. This has targeted all groups, including children, women, the elderly, and the sick, without precedent.
