Chief of Staff of the Algerian Army Calls for Heightened Awareness of Global Geopolitical Shifts

General Saïd Chanegriha, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, said on Sunday that everyone must raise their level of awareness with high professionalism and forward-looking anticipation of the profound geopolitical transformations taking place in the world, especially regarding their repercussions on countries of the south.

During his chairing of the Eid al-Fitr greetings ceremony at the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense, Saïd Chanegriha stressed the need to understand the dynamics of the rapidly evolving geopolitical transformations shaping the current international situation. These developments, he noted, are marked by the return of war and military interventions, the declining role of multilateral organizations, and the disregard for the rules of international law, which affect the sovereignty of states and their national choices.
