Algerian President Offers Condolences to Families of Three Soldiers Killed in The 5th Military Region

ALGIERS, March 13, 2026 – The Algerian President, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defense, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Friday extended his sincere condolences to the families of the three soldiers who died in the line of duty in the 5th Military Region, expressing his deep compassion.

“The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defense, extends his sincere condolences to the families of our three martyrs who fell in the line of duty while bravely defending Algeria and its security against the remnants of terrorist forces of evil and obscurantism in the 5th Military Region,” the message of condolences reads.

“While offering our condolences to all members of the Algerian National People’s Army (ANP), we bow in reverence to the memory of these martyrs and their pure souls, praying to Almighty Allah to welcome them into His vast paradise and to surround them with His holy mercy during these last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan. To Allah we belong and to Him we return. Glory and eternity to our valiant martyrs,” the president added.
