The Zionist genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip, since October 7th, 2023, has claimed 72,069 martyrs and resulted in 171,728 wounded, the majority of whom are women and children, according to a new toll released Thursday by the Palestinian health authorities.
The bodies of two martyrs and four wounded were transferred to Gaza hospitals over the past 24 hours, the source reported, noting that many victims remain trapped under the rubble.
Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 10th, 611 Palestinians have been killed and 1,630 others wounded, while the bodies of 726 martyrs have been recovered, the source added.
