Algeria’s Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs Ahmed Attaf held bilateral talks on Thursday in Addis Ababa with Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi, on the sidelines of the African Union (AU) Executive Council meeting, the ministry said in a statement.
The meeting focused on an exchange of views regarding the current situation on the African continent, particularly in the respective regions of the two countries, the statement said.
The talks also provided an opportunity to review prospects for strengthening the privileged relations between Algeria and Kenya, in line with the will of the two countries’ presidents to further energize bilateral ties, it added.
