Oil prices edged higher on Wednesday as traders monitored geopolitical tensions.
By midday, North Sea Brent crude for April delivery rose 1.21% to $69.23 a barrel.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for March delivery gained 1.28% to $64.78 a barrel.
Investors were assessing the risk of renewed geopolitical tensions that could disrupt global supply.
