UNRWA: Zionist Entity’s Aggression Targets Humanitarian Operations

The spokesperson for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Adnan Abu Hasna, said on Tuesday that the Zionist entity’s aggressive actions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip are aimed at undermining humanitarian efforts as a whole.
Abu Hasna emphasized in a statement that the campaign targeting UNRWA since the beginning of the genocide in October 2023, which included accusations of infiltration and bias, has resulted in the banning of 37 international humanitarian organizations from operating.
The same official further pointed out that the Zionist entity is fully aware that suspending UNRWA’s activities will cause a severe paralysis in humanitarian work inside the enclave, adding that the agency possesses sufficient aid supplies for three months, including shelter materials, clothing and blankets that could cover the needs of around 1.3 million Palestinians, but the occupation continues to block their entry.
The Arab League’s Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Palestine and Occupied Arab Territories Sector, Faid Mustafa, had reiterated earlier the League’s support for UNRWA as a symbol of international commitment to the Palestinian refugee cause until a just solution for the cause is reached in accordance with the rulings of the international law and the Arab Peace Initiative.
