A ministerial delegation arrived in Tindouf on Saturday to oversee the inauguration of the provincial capital’s railway station and to launch the first passenger train service to Bechar province via the 950-km western mining railway line connecting Bechar, Beni Abbes, Tindouf and Gara Djebilet.
The delegation comprises Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, Said Sayoud, Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, Abdelkader Djellaoui, and Secretary of State to the Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mines, in charge of Mines, Karima Bakir Tafer.
