Putin, Witkoff, and Kushner to Continue Ukraine Settlement Talks in Moscow — Kremlin

The Kremlin confirmed that Russian President Vladimir Putin will continue discussions on a Ukrainian settlement with US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and former White House advisor Jared Kushner during talks in Moscow. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov praised President Trump and his team for their efforts to resolve the Ukraine crisis, highlighting Washington’s role in facilitating ongoing negotiations.
Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov will also participate in the discussions and will provide a briefing afterward. Peskov added that while Ukraine continues its current policy, the time has come for decisive action to advance a settlement.
On Greenland, Putin emphasized that “anything concerning Greenland is none of Russia’s business,” noting that Russia has many of its own issues to address. Regarding the Middle East, Putin is set to meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at the Kremlin to focus on bilateral relations. They will discuss allocating $1 billion from frozen Russian assets for humanitarian purposes under the Board of Peace framework. Peskov clarified that this allocation does not signal that Russia has abandoned efforts to recover its frozen assets, and Moscow will continue to use all available measures to unfreeze them. He also reiterated Russia’s longstanding support for Palestine and its consistent efforts to achieve a broader Middle East settlement.
