Sudan: Over 570 Stolen Antiquities Recovered

At least 570 archaeological artifacts stolen from the National Museum of Khartoum during the war have been recovered and returned to public display during official ceremonies in Port Sudan, media reported Wednesday.

The museum, which housed approximately 100,000 antiquities, was systematically looted in the spring of 2023 during the conflict between the regular army and the Rapid Support Forces.
