Algeria’s non-hydrocarbon exports surpassed 4.3 billion dollars during the first nine months of 2025, marking a 26% increase over the same period in 2024, Algerian Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion Kamel Rezig announced Thursday.
Speaking at a hearing before the People’s National Assembly’s Committee on Economic Affairs, Development, Industry, Commerce, and Planning, Rezig noted that these figures “far exceeded those recorded during the same period over the past two years.” The Minister highlighted a strong upward trend in monthly performance. While exports began the year at 296 million dollars in January (a 12% year-on-year decline), they surged to 452 million dollars by October, i.e. a 42% increase compared to 2024. July emerged as the peak month, with exports hitting a record 490 million dollars, representing a 74% jump from the previous year.
