The Iranian Defense Council condemned on Tuesday escalating threats and statements considered interference in Iran’s internal affairs.
In a statement, the council stressed that “the country’s security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity are red lines, and any aggression will be met with a decisive and firm response.” The council added that Tehran “reserves the right to legitimate defense and does not wait for an attack,” noting that threat indicators themselves are part of the security equation.
