ICRC Urges Increased Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) called on Tuesday for an increased humanitarian aid and support to Gaza so that humanitarian agencies can meet the urgent and long-term needs in the enclave, which is enduring a disastrous humanitarian crisis due to Zionist aggression.

The Committee’s spokesperson Amani Al-Naouq said there is “an urgent need to increase humanitarian aid flows to Gaza so relief organizations can address both immediate and long-term needs in the Strip.” She emphasized the importance of ensuring sustained humanitarian support, including food, adequate shelter, and materials needed to repair critical infrastructure.

She stressed that the situation in Gaza remains disastrous, and the daily living conditions of the strip’s residents are harsh, as they suffer from exhaustion in their search for shelter, food, and clean water.
