The Algerian international, Yacine Brahimi, was awarded the Man of the Match title for the game between the Algerian National Team (A’) and Iraq on Tuesday evening.
The award followed his outstanding performance during the Greens’ 2-0 victory on the third matchday of Group D at the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025.
Brahimi excelled noticeably in this fixture, delivering one of his best performances since the tournament began. He displayed a high level of play throughout his time on the pitch and was responsible for the team’s most dangerous attacking opportunities.
This was due to his fluid movement on the left flank, his incisive passing, and his ability to break the pressure and make a difference in the final third of the field.
In recognition of his contribution, Brahimi won the Man of the Match award. The prize highlighted a balanced performance that combined dribbling, technical vision, attacking threat, and tactical discipline, reaffirming that he remains one of the most important and experienced figures in the national team.
