Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, approved the allocation of an additional 2,000 Hajj (Islamic pilgrimage) booklets for the 2026 season.
This supplementary quota is reserved for citizens aged 70 or over who have registered more than ten (10) times, the Algerian Ministry of Interior, Local Authorities and Transport announced on Tuesday in a statement.
