9th Algerian-Egyptian Joint High Commission Concludes in Cairo

The 9th Algerian-Egyptian Joint High Commission for Cooperation, co-chaired by Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb and Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, concluded Wednesday afternoon in Cairo.
During the session, both prime ministers chaired the signing of 18 agreements, memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and cooperation programs between the two countries, covering several areas, including housing, interior affairs, vocational training, culture and social solidarity.
Speaking on the occasion, Ghrieb expressed satisfaction with the positive outcomes of the 9th Algerian-Egyptian Joint High Commission for Cooperation, affirming that the bilateral partnership has now become a promising platform for achieving greater integration and mutual benefit.
He stressed that “the momentum marking relations between both countries draws its strength from the deep bonds of historical solidarity and cooperation between the Algerian and Egyptian peoples, who have written shared epics throughout history that will continue to inspire all generations in building and fostering cooperation and elevating their partnership to the highest levels.” The session was held from the 23rd to 26th of this month, beginning with preparatory work at the expert level, and then continuing at the ministerial level.
Discussions focused on ways to enhance bilateral relations and leverage various cooperation opportunities across all sectors before concluding today.
On the sidelines of the session, the Prime Minister, alongside his Egyptian counterpart, also opened the Algerian-Egyptian Business Forum held in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital.
During the opening session, Sifi Ghrieb delivered a speech addressing economic cooperation frameworks, underscoring the importance of developing bilateral partnerships across various economic and investment sectors to boost sustainable development, advance mutual interests and open new prospects for bilateral cooperation.
