Algerian-Vietnamese Economic Forum: Sonatrach, PetroVietnam sign partnership agreement

A partnership and cooperation agreement was signed on Wednesday, in Algiers, between Sonatrach and PetroVietnam, opening new opportunities for collaboration in hydrocarbon exploration and production.

The agreement was signed by Sonatrach’s CEO, Noureddine Daoudi, and his PetroVietnam’s counterpart, Le Ngoc Son, in the presence of Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

The signing ceremony took place during the Algerian-Vietnamese Forum, co-chaired by Ghrieb and his Vietnamese counterpart, in the presence of the government’s officials, the Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, Omar Rekkache, the President of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council, Kamel Moula, along with 200 business operators from both countries.

A partnership and cooperation agreement was also signed between Algeria’s SARL Food and Vietnam’s Joint Stock Company.
