Fifteen terrorists were eliminated by Pakistani security forces in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, in the country’s northwest, the armed forces’ press service reported Wednesday.
According to the same sources, the Pakistani army carried out two counterterrorism operations in the districts of Dera Ismail Khan and North Waziristan.
The targets were members of the banned organization Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, or the Pakistani Taliban Movement, the statement said.
