Algerian President Extends Condolences to Turkish Counterpart Following Military Plane Crash

The Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, extended his sincere condolences on Wednesday evening to his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, following the crash of a military plane at the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan, causing twenty deaths.

“Your Excellency, dear brother, it is with deep sorrow and great sadness that I learned the news of the crash of a Turkish military plane in the Sagarejo region, at the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan, which claimed the lives of twenty military personnel,” reads the message of condolences.

“Following this tragic and painful accident, I extend to your excellency my sincere condolences and my most sincere sentiments of sympathy, praying that Allah the Almighty grants the victims His mercy and to welcome them in His vast paradise, and to provide you, as well as their families and loved ones, with patience and comfort. To Allah we belong and to Him we return,” said the President of the Republic.
