The Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has offered his heartfelt condolences to the family of artist Faouzi Saichi, who passed away Monday after a long illness, expressing his deep compassion.
“It is with immense sadness and profound sorrow that I learned of the death of the artist Faouzi Saichi, following a long illness,” read the message of condolences. “In this painful ordeal, we extend our condolences to the artist’s family, to the Algerian cinema community in particular, and to the artistic community in general, where he left a memorable mark through his significant works—films and series that for decades brought joy to the public,” the President wrote.
“In this difficult moment, we implore Almighty Allah to grant the deceased His holy mercy and welcome him into His vast paradise. To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return,” the Algerian President added.
