Russia Supports Two-State Solution as Only Path to Resolve Middle East Conflict – Kremlin

Russia considers the two-state solution the only viable path to resolving the conflict in the Middle East, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday. He stressed that the conflict has now entered one of its most intense and tragic phases, underscoring the urgent need for a political framework that ensures peace and security.
The Kremlin spokesman also announced that President Vladimir Putin is expected to make several significant statements at an emergency UN Security Council meeting scheduled for today. The address will outline Russia’s views on the current crisis and the international community’s role in facilitating de-escalation and renewed peace efforts.
