ALGIERS, September 5, 2025 – The Algerian Ministry of Religious Affairs and Wakfs issued a statement on Friday announcing that President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has decided to organize an international competition focused on the Seerah of the Prophet, named “Algeria Prize for the Seerah of Prophet Mohammed.”
“In celebration of Mawlid Ennabaoui Echarif, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Wakfs is pleased to announce the decision made by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to hold an international competition on the Seerah of the Prophet, titled ‘Algeria Prize for the Seerah of Prophet Mohammed,'” the statement reads.
