EU Commissioner Urges Political Courage to Confront Zionist Entity’s War on Gaza

The European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid, Hadja Lahbib, on Wednesday called on EU member states to demonstrate political courage and raise a united voice regarding the Zionist entity’s genocidal war on Gaza. Speaking to reporters, she emphasized the urgency for the bloc to act in a way that reflects its global responsibility and moral standing.

“We are at a turning point and now it’s time for the EU to act in a way that matches its international stature,” Lahbib said, underscoring the need for a collective European stance on Gaza. Her remarks highlighted the ongoing divisions within the EU over how to address the zionist actions in the besieged Palestinian territory.

“My role is to denounce and to say loudly what is happening there. This is a tragedy,” Lahbib stated. “We will be judged by history and by our grandchildren. That’s for sure.” Her appeal comes amid growing calls worldwide for stronger condemnation and decisive action to stop Zionist genocidal war on  Gaza.
