UN Security Council to Hold Monthly Session on Middle East and Palestine

The UN Security Council is scheduled to convene on Wednesday for its regular monthly open session to discuss the situation in the Middle East, with particular attention to the Palestinian issue.

The meeting will open with a briefing by Ramiz Alakbarov, the UN Deputy Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, before transitioning into closed-door consultations among Council members.

The Zionist entity’s expansion of its military aggression in Gaza is expected to be a primary focus of the session.
